Hello everyone…
This has been a Great week for both Dad & Mom. Both are in good spirtits and stable condition at this time. Last night we were able to the two of them together in the same room for the first time in weeks. They were both very excited and able to express their love for each other. This really seemed to lift both of their spirits even higher!!! Then they were able to watch the Jenks football game Live on TV!
Marilyn will be moving next Tuesday to Southtown Nursing and Ventilator Care located at 76th West Rachel (156th & Memorial)Bixby, OK 74008 - Phone 918-366-4491- Visitation is open for anytime and any day!
The Great news is that Dad & Marilyn will be able to be in the same room once Dad joins Marilyn in about 3- 4 weeks!
Thanks again for all your continued support and prayers…

This past week Marilyn seemed to be in pretty good spirits. She enjoyed having her brother Claire and his wife Margo here to visit.
Al was explaining to Marilyn this evening about the nursing home and she had some questions and concerns for Al. Al assured her that he would go and check the place out and get back with her. Marilyn seemed satisfied . It will be great that they get to be in the same room at the nursing home.
Floyd is across the hall from Marilyn and he looked so much better this evening. His spirits seem good. He can really write with his ABC chart. He told me that he had the voice box in today for 15 minutes.

Hello everyone,
Good news Dad has been moved back to Select Specialty across the hall from Marilyn in room 5209 and seems to be douig much better. Both of them were in good spirits today considering all!
***Alert you will have to were a Protection Gown & Gloves upon entering Dads room to help prevent any possible transfer of infection through the duration of his stay in Select Specialty!
Great News…Marilyn ask to talk to the Doctor along with Don Ross, Chris Roiberts & myself. She wanted us all to know that she wants to fight the fight whatever it takes to make it through this and that she does not want to die at this time! She did seem a little anxiuos and the nurses were going to give her some medication to calm here down!
Thanks again for all your continued support and prayers!

I was up to see both Dad and Marilyn today. Dad started his weaning program in an effort to get him off the ventilator. He is into his 2nd day today and has been doing very well. There is a chance Dad could be moved to Select Specialties again in the next 7-14 days. Nothing for sure…just talks in the air. Marilyn was a good spirits with Claire (her older brother) and his wife Margo visiting with her. We all visited for a while and got some smiles from Marilyn. They have started the process for Marilyn’s upcoming move but I would guess at this point it will be at the earliest sometime next week (week of 9-10-07). I will be visiting both of them tomorrow and flying back to
San Diego. Claire and Margo will be here till Wednesday. Al is due back in
Tulsa Wednesday afternoon. Thanks for all of your support and prayers.

This week Marilyn has seemed more frustrated, she asks to go with me, stand me up and mouths help me. It is all to sad. I have stopped by every day this week to see them both. Last night I had the nurse move her bed so she could see the TV, lying there staring at the ceiling does not help. We watched the Bixby - Jenks football game on TV and she seemed to enjoy watching it.
Floyd seemed better last night, he was sitting up and sat with him a while, he used his ABC chart to talk to me. He was smiling a lot. Still have to wear the gown and gloves when one visits.
