Marilyn seemed a lot better this evening, she looked calm and was smiling a lot. This past weekend she seemed anxious and was very restless. She told Carol Coppedge and I she was scared. She kept saying Go Home and we heard her verbalize that loud and clear. I noticed that when she is very restless that she needs to be turned. So if you are up there visiting and you see this please ask the nurse if they will turn her. They had just turned her before I got there this evening.
I went over to visit Floyd and he wasn’t in his room, startled me for a moment but found out they had taken him for a cat scan. I waited till 8.00pm and had to leave. Left him a note telling him I had stopped by. Nurse said that she had no idea how long it would take. I will stop by tomorrow evening.
Floyd has a journal in his room also for visitors to sign the book. Marilyn’s guest book is also at the nursing home.
Hope you can drop by and see them they would love to see you.

This week Marilyn has done really well what with the move to the nursing home and everything. She was very content while her sister Dee was here. She is OK with being in the nursing home and looking forward to having Floyd there with her.
Floyd is doing much better. This evening he told me that he is really trying to work on getting of the ventilator for good. His spirits are good. He looks good. When I left him this evening he was getting ready to watch the Jenks / Broken Arrow game on TV.
I alternate each evening going to see Floyd and Marilyn. This weekend I will try and spend more time at the nursing home as I know that Floyd is getting very good care.
I really want to try and encourage anyone that can stop by the nusring home to please do so. We all know that nursing homes are not always the best of places and we need to let them see that Marilyn has a lot of people checking on her.
I am going to be out of town next weekend, Fri Sat & Sun and Al and Floyd will not be in town so I am calling on all of Marilyn’s friends to please check on her.

Dad & Marilyn are doing fairly well again today considering…
Dad is still having pain in his back and appears to be a couple of units low on blood. Those are being giving to him this evening! Marilyn now has her glasses that were lost and is stable and adjusting to the move fairly well. She is anxiously awaiting dads arrival!
Thanks again for all your support and prayers!

Ok Folks,
Here is an update on Dad & Marilyn…
Dad is doing well he got his nails done as well as his hair cut and he is one happy camper! He had x rays taken today to check for the pain in his back! IMHO it is because he has been in bed for 10 weeks.
Marilyn was moved today to Southtown in Bixby located at 76th West Rachel (156th & Memorial)Bixby, OK 74008 without any complications. We set her room up with Trojan memorabilia and Light Houses along with a TV and her Stereo and she appears to be ok and stable. I met her sister Dee along with her husband Don and Chris Roberts there this evening so we could all comfort her during her acclimation process. She appears to be content and now is patiently waiting for dad to join her.
Please all friends and support network feel free to stop in and see her as they have no limitations to days and or hours. She is in room 32 and the code to get in and out of the doors is 6210* .
Thanks again for all your support and prayers!
