I called to check on Marilyn today and she is doing well considering.
I talked with one of the nurses Sheriee and she said that she is doing very well considering and that she was currently up in her therapy chair and seemed to be in good spirits! I asked Sheriee to let her know that I called and that I would be out to see her in the next couple of days!

Went out yesterday to see Marilyn after church and she was doing well considering.
She had been up for about an hour in her therapy chair. Her brother Claire and Sister in-law Margot where there visiting from the Chicago area as well and had been in town for a couple of days visiting Marilyn. We had a nice time visiting with Marilyn before we left so she could rest as she did not sleep the night before. Claire and Margot will be there today and Tuesday before returning to the Chicago area.

Marilyn was in good spirits today, alert and not in pain. She stayed awake most of the day, only dozing off a couple of times.
Doyle Crain came by to visit with her this afternoon and Marilyn was happy to see him.
Later in the afternoon her brother Claire and sister in law Margot came in and Marilyn was really pleased to see them. I left just after 4.00pm and she was asking for some pain meds. She had not had any meds all day to this point which was good.

Chris Roberts and I stopped in last night to check on Marilyn and she was doing very well considering!
Marilyn was able to talk to us on her vent speaker box for a little over an hour of our two hour visit and we were able to listen and carry on a decent conversation. We discussed quite a few things that were on her mind and it was a very enjoyble visit. She was in great spirits and said that she had been in no pain for the day! She was very excited that her brother Claire and sister in law Margot will be here Saturday.

I stopped by today to check on Marilyn and she was resting peacefully when I arrived!
I stopped by and talked with the staff first to catch up and to see how she was doing overall.
Annette her nurse said that she was doing ok considering but that she had awoken earlier and thought that she had been in a tree and asked to be let down. When Annette and I went into the room she asked me if I would let her down and l ask her what she was referring to. She said that she wanted to get down off of the ladder. I told her that she must be having nightmares and that she had been in her bed all day in her private room and that everything was ok. I asked her if she wanted me to lay her down for a while and she said yes please. So I in turn did lay her down and Annette and I proceeded to get her comforted. Once she was comforted and seemed ok I asked her if she wanted to be raised back up and she said yes and I did so. I assured her that everything would be ok and that she probably just needed some rest and she agreed. I stayed a while longer and she drifted off to sleep. She seemed to be at peace so I left once she was sleeping.

Visited with Marilyn today, she was in good spirits and alert most of the time I was there. Nurse said that she had just got her back into bed from sitting up in the chair. Marilyn said that she was up in the chair yesterday also. I asked her if she liked that and she nodded yes.
Marilyn asked to have her brace put on her right arm and hand, it took quite a while to figure out that was what she wanted.
Marilyn said that she liked her new room. All her pictures and posters were all up in her new room. Several cards had come in for her and Marilyn said that she has seen all of them. I took up a card that was sent to me to take to her also.
It was hard at first to go into the Health Center and not see Floyd’s smiling happy self greeting me at the front door, which he often did. I know he is in a better place and at peace.

Called this evening to check on Marilyn and her nurse Stephanie said that she was doing OK considering. Stephanie did say that she seemed to be a little anxiety driven off and on today but does seem to be ok this evening.
Stephanie did say that Marilyn was blessed today to have her sister Dee to visit most of the day.

Marilyn did make it back to Inola safe and sound today!
Marilyn is now in her own private room #39. This room is two doors down across the hall from the old room. So you go down the same hall and it is on the left side instead of the right! According to Misty Marilyn’s nurse she appears to be doing well considering and is stable condition. Her sister Dee did greet her at the home and Marilyn had a big smile when she saw her.

I just found out that Marilyn has been transferred back to Inola. I know that her sister Dee is going to be there with her which will help.

When I went to visit Marilyn this evening her sister Dee was with her, which was a nice surprise. Marilyn seemed pleased that Dee was there.
Marilyn was very sleepy but did manage to nod yes and no to our conversation.
Her nurse came by and said that Marilyn was doing good, she did have a slight fever earlier in the day but that it was now back to normal. She said that she would most probably go back to Inola tomorrow.
So glad that Dee is here for Marilyn as she returns to Inola, I’m sure it is going to be difficult for her not having Floyd there when she returns.
