Called to check on Marilyn today and spoke with Misty her nurse and unfortunately she is running a slight fever today. She did come down with a slight case of the Flu two days ago and seems to be doing better overall. All the nurses are still wearing masks and according to Misty they feel like would be better to wait until at least Sunday to go out to see her. Once the flu has had a chance to leave the building.

Called to check and see if it was ok to go and see Marilyn and spoke with Jeniffer in Admin she informed me they are still having a Stomach Flu semi -epidemic and that it might be better to wait a few days. I then asked to talk with Sheree her nurse and she informed me that Marilyn was doing well considering. She mentioned that she had a mild fever yesterday but that it was gone today. Sheree informed me that she was doing a lot better on her breathing and that overall seemed to be in good spirits. I told Sheree that I would be coming out as soon as the path was clear with regards to the Stomach Flu situation.

Visited with Marilyn today, she was alert and was smiling and talking a lot. Her sister Chris had been to visit with her this week and stayed for several days.
Marilyn asked one of the nurses when could she get out of here, the nurse told her that she did not know. Marilyn then asked me to take her home, I told her that I couldn’t do that just yet. She asked when she would get better and I told her I didn’t know that, but for her to really work on her breathing and to use her therapy sessions to help her get well again. She nodded and mouthed that she will try.
Nurses said that they did have a virus going round, but that no one in the area that Marilyn is in has been sick at this time.
Took Marilyn the cream that she wanted from her house and showed them to the nurse and they said that they could use it on her.

I called to let Marilyn know that I was coming out today and unfortunately the facility is having an epidemic with the stomach flu. Having had that in our house for about a month I decided that I would wait a few days to let it clear.
I was able to call through Debbie the nurses cell phone and talk to Marilyn and say hi and let her know that I would be out in the next few days!

I called and talked with Debbie Marilyns nurse and she said that she was doing well considering! She mentioned that she was seemed a little tired today and wanted to rest. I asked Debbie to let her know I was in town and would be out to see her this weekend. Debbie mentioned that she thought her sister Chris was in town visiting and would be here a couple more days!

I talked with Sherrie her nurse this morning and Marilyn is doing well considering. She has a little fever today but the feel they have it under control.
I asked Sherrie to let her know that I would be back in town and out to visit on Thursday!

Just got back from visiting with Marilyn, she was alert and seemed happy to see me. Once in a while you could actually hear her voice when she tried to talk. Asked her if she wanted to have her voice box in and she didn’t. Went over some things with her about her estate sale and she said that she understood everything.
I rubbed her arms for a while as she asked if I would do that, creamed her arms and hands up and she said that it felt better then she asked for her brace to be put on. Got the nurse to do that for her.
Sherri her nurse said that she has had a really good week and that her sleeping patterns are much better.
Doyle Crain Floyd’s relative was leaving as I arrived today. The book had been signed by Jane Martin and Barbara who had visited her earlier in the week.

I called to check on Marilyn this morning and to let her know I would be back this week. According to Misty she has had a great week and had great nites sleep.

I called to check on Marilyn this morning and she seemed to be doing fine according to Annette her nurse. Annette said that she seemed very happy, alert and comfortable considering.
I will be leaving today for almost 2 weeks so visitors are definetly incouraged.

Visited Marilyn in Inola today she was sleeping when I went in, sat for a little while and then rubbed her arm and she woke up. She seemed really tired and was sleeping on and off during my visit. Marilyn woke up enough to ask for the tv channel to be changed, found one that she wanted to watch and she told me I could leave now. Checked to see if she had any mail that needed to be read to her.
