I just received a call from INHC and unfortunately Marilyn is headed back to St. Francis with another fever! The INHC staff feels that it is probably Pneumonia again… It appears that St. Francis was under a divert status an unfortunetly she was sent to St. Johns in Tulsa instead she will be in room 823 the St. Johns number 918-744-2345.
Thanks again for your continued Prayers and Support!

Marilyn was very anxious today when I went in to visit, she told me not to touch her oxygen machine, I told her that I wouldn’t. I put my hand on the bed rail and she told me to leave the ladder alone and I explained to her that it was her bed rail. Marilyn had just got back from her whirlpool bath. She said she was not happy with her care and needed to talk to a nurse. Got a nurse and aide in and we were having a hard time trying to figure out what she was saying. I asked Marilyn if she could put her voice box in so we could understand what she needed, she agreed. Marilyn said that she didn’t feel she was getting looked after properly, nurse asked her in what way and she said that couldn’t say excatly but that she just felt that way. Nurses explained to Marilyn that they had to help other patients also but that they do check on her often. Marilyn seemed to feel better once they had talked.
Marilyn finally seemed to settle down and relaxed some after the nurses turned her again. We talked on and off and she seemed better. Marilyn’s right shoulder was hurting her pretty bad today.
Al came to visit while I was there and Marilyn seemed pleased to see him.

I called to to check on Marilyn today and let her know I would be there tomorrow!
I talked with her Nurse Stephanie and she said that she was doing well today considering. She was up in her therapy chair today for about an hour and her attitude was positive.
