Marilyn was watching a basketball game when I went in last night, she was glad to see me. She asked me how my vacation was and we talked about that for a while. Showed her some pictures of my trip, and she asked me how the mud day went, we laughed about that. Told her I should have those pictures when I come up next time.
Asked her how the Botex was working and she wrinkled her nose and said OK I guess, asked her if she could move her head better and she said not really. I asked her about her arms and if she was going to have them done, she said the Botox not working good on her arms and that they were going to try it again next week. I didn’t think she had her arms done but she said she did.
Marilyn then said she needed a nurse, got one in and she kept saying to the nurse “remember about Saturday night”, Nurse questioned her about what she was needing and Marilyn said “the video the video.” When the nurse left I asked Marilyn what video was she needing, she said “I don’t know.”
Told Marilyn that I would be back up later this week and she said “OK glad you are back.”

I called this morning and talked with Debbie her nurse and she said that Marilyn was doing great considering. I asked Debbie to please let her know that I called to say hi and send my Love.
Tanya and the kids decided to go to OKC to see the Body Exhibit that is traveling all around the country. Since I had already seen it I decided to be adventurous and go ahead and go out and surprise Marilyn. I know I’m about 4 days earlier than my doctors visit but though it would be ok to drive out. I really am glad I did as it allowed me the opportunity to surprise her and see her smile again before I head back to San Diego. I took a framed picture of Dad & Uncle Joe and boy once again she smiled. I also took her some silk flowers in a little vase and left them on the window Ceil and I got even another smile. I stayed about 2 hours and then after visiting for sometime and she told me that she was tired and needed to sleep. I said of course it was ok because it was time for me to take off any way. I let her know that I would be back before I left and I mentioned that her nephew as well as Claire and Margot would be coming in soon as well and once again another big smile!

I called tonight to check on Marilyn and talked Misti her Nurse.
Misti said that she is doing great considering and that Marilyn was really good spirits. I asked about her neck and she indicated that the Doctor had been back today to check on her. Marilyn seems to be getting about 15% more movement out of her neck than before of which is great. I found out that Marilyn would not allow them to treat her arms until she was able to see the results from her neck. I ask Misti to please encourage her to have her arms treated now that she has been able to see immediate results and she said that she would.
