I talked with Doctor Kennedy yesterday and she indicated that Marilyn was doing well considering. I also talked with Brittin today and all appears to be going well again today. They are still planning a a discharge back to Inola the early part of next week if all goes well. I told her to tell Marilyn that I would try to get up to the St Francis Hospital later today.

Marilyn was sleeping when I visited today, her sister Chris was there, and was good to visit with her. Marilyn is still on the Inola Ventilator. Chris said that the Dr. said that Marilyn would be there for a few more days as she is still on antibiotics
Chris said that Marilyn had a visit from one of the girls at the credit union yesterday. Dee’s grandson is planning on meeting Chris this evening and visiting with Marilyn.
Marilyn woke up before I had to leave and was mouthing her words, she was not able to verbalize. She seemed in pretty good spirits. Her color is good. Chris said the sore on her back was getting better. Marilyn’s stomach seemed really puffy today.

Ok Folks after asking Tanya’s Doctor to refer us to Mayo Clinic we now have an appointment with the Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN on June 23rd for further evaluation.

When I got up to see Marilyn this evening her nurse said that her sister Chris had just left. Glad that Marilyn had company all day today.
The ventilator from Inola was in her room and she was hooked up to it, asked Marilyn if she would be going back to Inola tomorrow. Marilyn mouthed that she would be here for a few more days. Nurse never came back in for me to ask.
One of the nurses Mike that took care of both Marilyn and Floyd on ICU 5 was on the floor this evening, he recognized me and came and talked to Marilyn for a little while. Marilyn said that she could not remember him.
Marilyn’s color was good and no swelling in her face and hands. We watched the movie The Perfect Storm and chatted for a while. Marilyn was wide awake the whole time I was there this evening.

I called to check on Marilyn and Jessie her nurse said that she was doing ok considering and that all vitals are stable at this time. She has about 6 more days od IV antibiotic and then will be going back to Inola if all goes well! So it appears that it will be early part of next week before she returns to Inola if all goes according to the Doctors plan.

Tanya is doing ok considering weak on some days as to be expected.
We are asking her local Tulsa Nephrologists for an immediate referral to the Mayo Clinic in MN at this time. We will keep you posted as things move forward.

Visited Marilyn last night, she was awake and in good spirits. Her color was good, not able to verbalize this evening. Marilyn asked what day it was, what month it was and what time it was as soon as I went in. I showed her the board where all that was posted and showed her the clock. She said she was just checking.
We used an ABC chart to try and understand what she was saying. Marilyn said that she has been sleeping a lot today and was still tired. Asked her if she was getting a lot of pain meds and she said yes, that her shoulders and back have been hurting her. I asked her if her whole back was hurting and she said no the top part.
Stayed till around 7.00pm.

I went to St. Francis this morning to see Marilyn and to check on her.
While I was there and after meeting with her nurse the doctor stopped in to check on her as well. The Doc was quite frank in the fact that she has a lot going on. Pneumonia, Urinary tract infection, Yeast infection along with several bed sores. She seemed to be doing pretty well as far as pain and attitude considering all the existing issues. He said that they are running several additional tests to make sure they are aware of all that is going on! We thanked him for him caring and looking over her as he had. He said they will keep us posted on her progress.
About 10 minutes after he left Chris Roberts stopped in as well. It was great seeing her as always she is truly an Angel! Marilyn told me to get home to my wife so I followed strict orders and did indeed get home to Tanya and the kids! Chris stayed to spend more time with Marilyn and we made sure she was ok before I took off!

Marilyn was visiting with Al when I went up to visit today. Was good to see Al back in OK.
Marilyn was doing alright but she could not verbalize today. She said she was feeling So So. We chatted for a while, but I am having a hard time reading lips. Marilyn said that her shoulder was hurting her asked if she needed a nurse for some pain medicine and she said no.
Around 1.30p Marilyn said that it was ok if I went on home and asked me to send the nurse in as she wanted some pain meds.

Marilyn was awake and watching TV, she was not able to verbalize this evening. Told her that Al would be back in OK this weekend and she said that the nurse told her that. Marilyn said that she was feeling ok today. I asked her if she was sleeping good at night and she nodded her head yes.
The movie Castaway came on and she asked me to stay and watch the movie with her, which I did. Marilyn asked if I would bring her a tablet for her to write messages on the next time I come up, told her that I would.
I may not make it up Saturday to visit, will try and go Sunday.
