Susan Rosson’s Eye Condition

Posted in Floyd & Susan at 8:30 pm by Floyd Rosson Jr.

Susan and I just got back from the Ophthalmologist and found out she has…Iridocyclitis, a type of anterior uveitis, is a condition in which the uvea of the eye suffers inflammation. You can learn more about her condition by going to…http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iridocyclitis. The medication she was prescribed is not stocked at the pharmacy (the doctor told us this would probably be the case) so Long’s Drug has ordered it and hopefully we will be able to pick it up tomorrow and she can get started on her road to recovery. The doctor told us it is not contagious and she could go back to work tomorrow if she felt like it. She is scheduled to see the Ophthalmologist next Tuesday, December 2nd for a follow up visit. Please keep Susan in your prayers.

Thanks,

Floyd Jr.

Floyd & Marilyn Update…

Posted in Floyd & Susan at 8:38 pm by Al Rosson

Dad has now joined Marilyn in St. Francis Hospital Tulsa, OK

This morning I called to arrange picking up Marilyns speaking valve while stopping by to see dad. Unfortuntely I was informed that Dad had also been admitted to St. Francis due to having a fever, blood pressure and breathing issues early morning around 2:0 a.m. .  I proceeded to Inola and picked up Marilyns speaking valve and then back to St. Francis to see her & Dad. Marilyn seemed in good spirits and was resting. She wanted to see if we could arrange for her and Dad to be in the same room. Leslie her nurse said she would check with the Doctor and staff to find out if that was possible. In talking with Leslie this evening she indicated after looking at the surgery chart that she did NOT see Marilyn scheduled and was going to try to find out when that would be happening. I spent some time with dad as well this afternoon and he is stable and currently on the 6th floor in room 6106 . He was stable but tired also seemed in good spirits considering. Stephanie his nurse was not aware of his surgery and due to the fact that he and Marilyn have a case of pnemonia and infections no one is sure as to when they will be having their surgeries. I will continue to update you as the updated information is available.

Thanks again for your continued prayers and support!
