Chris Roberts Visit

Visited with Floyd this evening and he was alert but hurting some, the nurse asked if he needed to be moved and he nodded yes and asked for some ice.  She brought some ice and he seemed satisfied.  Nurse said that she would get some help and move him to make him more comfortable.

 Marilyn was resting when I went in to see her.  Her sister Chris was there also.  Marilyn awoke and was mouthing something, her sister and I could not understand what she needed and got the nurse in.  The nurse could not understand what she needed and put the voice box on and she told her what she needed. (It was wonderful to actually hear Marilyn talk).  Her right shoulder was hurting her and they gave her some pain medicine.  She did not want me to leave until they had given her the medicine, after she got the medicine she told me I’ll see you tomorrow.

I have to commend the patience and kindness of the nurse tonight.
