Floyd Visit 10-17-07
This evening Floyd seemed agitated, he kept pulling at the his sheet and searching searching for a pen. I found a pen on the table but he didn’t want that one, finally he took it. He told the nurse that he was hurting on his side. They gave him morphine for the pain. I am sure that most of the agitation is due to the pain medicine he is getting. Nurse said that part of the pain could be from the gall stones moving around.
Nurse also mentioned that Floyd has pneumonia and that they want to get that cleared up before they operate on removing the gall bladder. Theu are still removing a lot of sludge from the gall bladder.
On my way out I ran into Floyd Jr. Walked back to Floyd’s room with Jr., he was sleeping, nurse started to talk to Jr. and Floyd perked right up as soon as he heard Jr. voice. He has been eagerly waiting for Jr. to get there.
You have to wear a gown and gloves when you visit Floyd.
